The protected way to book and pay for your day on the water in Miami
Book with confidence or operate with backing — one platform protects both sides of every trip. No cash payments, no fake listings, no paying a stranger who disappears.
Boat scams in Miami — and how we protect you from them
You know the stories: a perfect-looking listing, they ask you to pay by Zelle, cash, or transfer “to hold the date,” and then the captain vanishes or the boat never existed. VesselParty was built to take those risks off the table: traceable in-platform payment, money that’s only released when you show up, and a real company that answers.
A typical Miami boat scam
- ✕You pay a stranger directly by Zelle, cash, Venmo, or wire.
- ✕Your money is gone the second you send it — with no way to get it back.
- ✕When it goes wrong, there’s no one to call and no company behind it.
On VesselParty
- ✓You pay securely in-platform with Stripe. We never ask for cash, Zelle, Venmo, or transfers — if someone does, it isn’t us.
- ✓The provider is only paid once you arrive and the captain scans your booking QR. If they cancel, you get a refund.
- ✓Real support and a registered company you can hold accountable.
Your money is protected
Charged securely with Stripe
Every booking is processed in-platform with Stripe, one of the largest payment companies in the world. We never ask you to pay a captain directly. If someone asks for cash, Zelle, Venmo, or a transfer, it isn’t VesselParty.
The provider is only paid once you show up
Your payment stays in-platform until the day of the trip. When you arrive, the captain scans your booking QR and checks you in — only then is the payment released to the provider. You never pay a stranger up front.
A refund if the provider fails
If the provider cancels your booking or the captain doesn’t show, you get a refund and we help you rebook. Cancellations you initiate follow your booking’s cancellation policy.
QR-verified check-in
The captain confirms in the app that the right guest boarded by scanning the booking QR — and only then is payment released.
Scammers get blocked
If a provider gives false information, VesselParty can suspend their listings, cancel the booking, hold their payout, and refund you — all set out in our binding Provider Agreement.
Everything stays in-platform
Booking, payment, cancellation, and support all happen inside VesselParty. Providers are contractually prohibited from taking you off-platform to charge you another way.
On the provider’s side — you’re protected too
VesselParty isn’t only for guests. If you operate experiences, the same platform and the same contracts back you up.
You get paid at check-in
When the captain scans the guest’s QR and checks them in, VesselParty releases your payout to your Stripe account. From there to your bank, the timing is set by you and Stripe per your settings — that part is in your hands, not ours.
The guest pays up front and is identified
Every booking arrives already paid in-platform, with an identified guest. Fewer no-shows, fewer surprises.
A contract that backs you
Every guest signs a Captained Experience Agreement with assumption of risk, a liability release, and indemnification in your favor, plus a damage security deposit. You don’t operate on a handshake.
Real backing when things go wrong
If something goes sideways, there’s a dispute process and a registered company behind it — not an anonymous app.
You operate, we handle the rest
You bring the experience and the crew; we bring the technology, the payment, and the guest. Clear, written rules for both sides.
Who’s actually running your boat
VesselParty is the marketplace and the booking technology. Your day on the water is run by an independent, professional provider — bound by a binding contract, not a handshake.
Providers certify their credentials
Before a listing goes live, each provider must certify, in a binding, auditable agreement, that they hold the required USCG captain’s license, marine insurance, and the legally authorized passenger capacity for each experience.
We require and review documentation
We collect and review provider documents for trust, safety, and fraud prevention, and can suspend or cancel any listing over a safety, insurance, or compliance concern. VesselParty is not a maritime regulator and does not inspect vessels — the provider remains responsible for compliance.
A captain runs the boat — not you
You book a captained experience: the provider and their captain operate the vessel. You’re a guest, so you don’t drive the boat, you don’t need a license, and there are no grey-area vessel handovers.
A signed agreement, always
You get a Captained Experience Agreement with your booking, and providers sign a Provider Agreement with real consequences for false information.
Only reviews from verified bookings
Only guests who completed and paid for a booking can leave a review — the platform verifies it. What you read is what other guests actually experienced on the water.
You can verify us
VesselParty is operated by ESOne Inc., a Delaware C-Corporation founded in 2025 and based in Miami, Florida. We’re not an anonymous page or a throwaway account — we’re a registered U.S. company, with published apps, real support, and a legal name and address you can verify.
