Account Deletion

Last updated: April 2026. Applies to all VesselParty users, whether you registered through the mobile app (iOS / Android) or the web portal.

Who can request deletion

Any VesselParty account holder can request deletion of their own account at any time. This includes both traveler accounts (used to book experiences) and provider accounts (used to list vessels and experiences). The request must come from the email address on the account so we can verify ownership.

How to request deletion

Option A - From inside the mobile app: open VesselParty on your device, tap your profile avatar to open the Profile tab, scroll to Settings, then tap 'Delete my account'. You will be asked to confirm. Option B - By email: send a message from the email address on your account to contact@vesselparty.com with the subject 'Account deletion request'. We will reply with a confirmation link; clicking the link triggers the deletion. Option C - From the tenant portal: if you are a provider, log in to your tenant admin at your-company.vesselparty.com, open 'My Account -> Privacy -> Delete my account', and follow the prompts.

What gets deleted

On confirmation we delete: your profile (name, email, phone, profile picture, saved addresses, payment method identifiers), your favorites and saved searches, your reviews and any content you authored, your push-notification tokens, and any personalization settings. Provider accounts additionally delete listed vessels, experiences, availability schedules, and provider-level contact information. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What we are legally required to keep

Some records we must retain even after you delete your account, to comply with US commercial and tax law: booking contracts and electronic signatures (retained 7 years under the ESIGN Act), payment and chargeback records held by our payment processor Stripe (retained as required by Stripe and applicable tax authorities), anti-fraud flags (retained 24 months), and aggregated usage metrics that do not identify you. These records are stored under restricted access and are not used to contact you after deletion.

How long deletion takes

Requests submitted through the app or the tenant portal are processed immediately - your account is disabled within seconds and hard-deleted from our primary database within 24 hours. Email requests are processed within 5 business days of our verification reply. Backups are retained for up to 30 days after deletion and are purged on the regular backup rotation schedule. If you need faster confirmation of deletion for a specific reason (regulatory request, identity theft, etc.), contact us at contact@vesselparty.com and we will expedite.
