VesselParty Terms for Vessel Owners

1. Introduction
These Terms for Vessel Owners ("Terms") govern the responsibilities and obligations of individuals or entities listing vessels and offering vessel-based experiences ("Providers" or "you") through the VesselParty platform ("Platform"). By using the Platform to list or operate a vessel, you agree to these Terms.
2. Independent Contractor Status
Providers operate as independent contractors and not as employees, partners, agents, or representatives of VesselParty. You are solely responsible for your operations, tax obligations, and legal compliance.
3. Compliance and Legal Responsibility
You agree to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including maritime regulations. This includes but is not limited to registration, licensing, inspection, and safety compliance.
4. Vessel Safety and Condition
You are solely responsible for ensuring that your vessel is seaworthy, safe, properly maintained, and equipped in accordance with all applicable standards and regulations.
5. Insurance
You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate commercial maritime insurance. VesselParty does not verify or require proof of insurance, nor does it provide any insurance coverage for Providers.
6. Listings and Accuracy
You must ensure that your Listing is accurate, complete, and kept up to date. Misleading or inaccurate listings may result in suspension or removal from the Platform.
7. Conduct and Guest Experience
You agree to act professionally, ensure guest safety, and follow best practices for hospitality and communication. You are responsible for the conduct of your crew and the overall experience of Users.
8. Payments and Fees
VesselParty facilitates payments on your behalf. We deduct our service fee and remit the net amount to you. All payments are subject to our Fee Policy.
9. Cancellations
You must comply with your selected cancellation policy and avoid unnecessary cancellations. Excessive cancellations may result in listing penalties or account suspension. See our Cancellation Policy.
10. Damage and Incident Reporting
Report any damage or safety incidents to VesselParty within 24 hours of occurrence. Failure to report may affect your eligibility for support or future use of the Platform.
11. Termination
VesselParty reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these Terms, safety concerns, or legal risk.
12. Limitation of Liability
VesselParty is not liable for your actions, services, or any damages arising from your use of the Platform. You agree to indemnify VesselParty from claims related to your listings and operations.
